These Terms & Conditions apply to all purchases made from Direct Sectional Buildings, a trading name of Clawmark Limited.
By placing an order through our website, by telephone, by email, or in person, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

2. Ordering
Orders may be placed online, by telephone, by email, or in person.
All orders are subject to acceptance by Direct Sectional Buildings. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion.
Customers are responsible for checking all order details carefully before confirming their purchase, including:
- Building size
- Roof style
- Door and window positions
- Optional extras
- Delivery address
- Contact information
Any errors or amendments must be reported immediately.
3. Product Information
All product images, descriptions, dimensions, specifications, colours, and illustrations shown on our website, brochures, social media, or marketing material are intended as a guide only.
As timber is a natural product, variations in colour, grain, knots, shrinkage, expansion, and general appearance may occur.
We reserve the right to make minor changes or improvements to specifications, materials, fixings, or manufacturing methods without prior notice where necessary.
4. Pricing & Payment
All prices displayed are in Pound Sterling (£) and include VAT unless otherwise stated.
Delivery charges, installation charges, and optional extras are shown separately where applicable.
Payment may be made using approved payment methods available at checkout or agreed directly with our sales team.
For some orders, deposits or staged payments may be required.
Products remain the property of Direct Sectional Buildings until full payment has been received and cleared.
5. Lead Times & Production
All of our buildings are manufactured to order.
Estimated lead times shown on our website, quotations, emails, or order confirmations are estimates only and are not guaranteed delivery dates.
Typical lead times may range between 8–12 weeks, however this may vary depending on:
- Seasonal demand
- Production schedules
- Material availability
- Weather conditions
- Delivery logistics
- Bespoke manufacturing requirements
While we make every effort to meet estimated lead times, delays may occasionally occur. Direct Sectional Buildings shall not be liable for any indirect loss, expense, inconvenience, or consequential damages caused by delayed manufacture or delivery.
Customers will be kept informed where possible regarding significant delays.
6. Bespoke & Made-To-Order Products
Many of our products are bespoke, customised, or manufactured specifically to customer requirements.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Custom sizes
- Modified layouts
- Bespoke designs
- Special cladding options
- Custom door or window positions
- Optional upgrades or non-standard specifications
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, bespoke and made-to-order products are exempt from the standard 14-day cancellation period.
Once manufacture has commenced, bespoke or made-to-order products cannot be cancelled, returned, or refunded unless faulty.
7. Order Changes & Cancellations
Requests to amend or cancel an order must be made in writing.
Where manufacture has not yet commenced, we may allow amendments or cancellations at our discretion.
If manufacturing materials have already been ordered, prepared, or production has begun, cancellation charges may apply.
Once manufacture has commenced, cancellations are not permitted for bespoke or made-to-order products.
8. Delivery
Delivery is available to most mainland UK postcodes.
Certain postcode areas may incur additional delivery charges.
Customers must ensure:
- Adequate vehicle access is available
- The delivery area is safe and accessible
- Someone over 18 years old is available to accept delivery
If delivery cannot be completed due to restricted access, unsuitable site conditions, or incorrect customer information, additional delivery or return visit charges may apply.
Delivery dates are arranged in advance where possible, however these remain estimates and may be subject to change.
9. Customer Responsibilities
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure:
- The base is suitable, level, and structurally adequate
- Adequate access is available for delivery and installation
- Any required planning permission has been obtained
- Any underground services or obstructions are identified
We reserve the right to refuse installation where a base or site is deemed unsuitable.
Any additional visits required due to unsuitable preparation may result in additional charges.
10. Installation
Where installation is included, our installation team will carry out assembly at the agreed location.
Customers must ensure the site is fully prepared before installation takes place.
Installation times are estimates only and may vary.
Minor adjustments may occasionally be required during installation due to natural timber movement or site conditions.
11. Timber & Natural Movement
Timber is a natural material and may react to weather conditions.
The following are considered normal characteristics and are not faults:
- Small splits or cracks
- Knot movement
- Warping or expansion
- Resin bleed
- Colour variation
- Surface movement
Regular maintenance and timber treatment are essential to maintain the appearance and lifespan of the building.
12. Warranty & Claims
Any product warranty provided applies only to manufacturing defects and does not cover:
- Natural timber movement
- General wear and tear
- Improper maintenance
- Storm or weather damage
- Inadequate base preparation
- Customer misuse or modification
Any issues, shortages, or damages must be reported within 48 hours of delivery or installation.
Photographic evidence may be required.
13. Liability
Direct Sectional Buildings shall not be liable for:
- Indirect or consequential losses
- Loss of earnings or business
- Delays caused by circumstances outside our control
- Damage resulting from unsuitable bases or site conditions
Nothing within these Terms excludes any rights provided under UK consumer law.
14. Telephone Orders
For telephone orders, customers will normally receive:
- An order summary
- A quotation or invoice
- Estimated lead times
- A link to these Terms & Conditions
By making payment, customers confirm acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
We strongly recommend customers review all documents carefully before payment is made.
15. Finance & Third-Party Payments
Finance providers including Klarna or third-party payment providers operate independently from Direct Sectional Buildings.
Any finance agreement, payment schedule, or lending decision is subject to the provider’s own terms, conditions, and approval process.
16. Privacy
Customer information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We do not sell customer information to third parties.
17. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
