To ensure installation runs smoothly, suitable access is essential.

Vehicle Access

Our delivery vehicles require approximately:

  • 8ft 6in (2.6m) minimum width where possible
  • Adequate turning space
  • Safe unloading area close to the installation site

Installation Access

From the unloading point to the base, our installers require:

  • Minimum 3ft (900mm) clear access
  • Approximately 8ft (2.4m) head height
  • A route free from obstacles

Building sections are carried by hand, so pathways should be reasonably level and accessible.

If your property includes:

  • Tight corners
  • Steps
  • Sloping ground
  • Limited access

please let us know before ordering. In many cases we can still install your building, although additional labour charges may occasionally apply.

An uneven base can affect the operation of doors, roof alignment and the overall lifespan of your building, so taking the time to prepare it properly is essential.

Before Our Team Arrives

To help us complete your installation efficiently, please ensure:

  • The base is complete and fully accessible
  • The installation area is clear of furniture, garden equipment and stored items
  • Trees, shrubs and overhanging branches have been trimmed where necessary
  • Pets and children are kept away from the working area
  • Any underground services are clearly identified if relevant

Electrical work, plumbing, drainage and internal finishing should be completed after installation unless agreed beforehand.
