Externally Treated Timber

All of our external timber cladding used in the build is externally treated for longevity. Our solvent based preservative is applied to the wood after the construction of the panel to help avoid fungal decay, wood rot and most importantly insect attacks.

Strong Durable Framing

All of the DSB timber garages & workshops are constructed using extra strong 75mm x 50mm (3″ x 2″) stress graded timber framing in all of our garage/workshop building process providing strength and durability. Our roof trusses are the common ‘A’ shape made using a series of 75mm x 50mm (3″ x 2″) to support the roof  keeping the ridge line straight throughout the garage/workshops life span.

Shiplap Weatherboard Cladding

Our quality planed 16mm finished Shiplap cladding is fitted by galvanised ring nails as standard to the frame, we have one other option to upgrade to a more rustic T&G planed feather board – Ask for more information.

Wider Stronger Doors

The DSB timber double doors measure 2133mm (7′) wide for an easier access point for your car. However, we can customise our doors to any dimension you require. We have a wide choice of hinges from the standard black T to the stronger band & hooks.

Felt or Onduline Roof & Boarding

Most of the DSB garage & workshops come with the durable black corrugated Onduline as standard laid on to the 12mm solid pre boarded roof panels illiminating sheet sagging. One other roof option on any garage/workshops is the heavy duty 20kg mineral roofing felt, the application is nailing.

Plywood Lined Doors

If you wish, you can upgrade from the standard ledged and braced doors to a more secure ply lined door using 9mm finished plywood.

Windows & Side Access Doors

You can upgrade your standard DSB garage/workshop windows to any of those available in our optional extras including the choice of single-glazed, casement stay designs – you can also choose to add a single side access door into your new timber garage. Extra Wall Security

For an additional charge we can now add extra security into your new garage/workshop by lining the walls with either a 9mm or 12mm plywood lining. This can be particularly useful if your fixing wall units or hiding wiring.

Feather Board Cladding

For a more aesthetic style, you can also upgrade your standard 16mm T&G shiplap cladding to our unique 19mm T&G feather board for a more longer lasting building. Ask for current prices and availability.

Clear Roofing Sheet Options

If your garage/workshop comes with Onduline roofing sheets then you can now add clear sky light for an additional cost.
