The Field Shelter range is one of our most popular ranges in the DSB line up, these buildings offer fantastic value for money. They can be used for many different animals but are well known for the equestrian use and can be adopted for a hay barn or open store in the field, farm or stable yard.

Due to the size options you can choose to have one or two openings and even add the 3ft roof canopy for a more sheltered option for horse or horses in winter or summer. All the field shelters are constructed to a very high standard and will withstand the daily knocks your horse or pony will give the building.

Strong Durable Framing

All of the DSB timber field shelters are constructed using extra strong 75mm x 50mm (3″ x 2″) stress graded timber framing in all of our garden shed process providing strength and durability.

Shiplap Weatherboard Cladding

Our quality planed 16mm finished Shiplap cladding is fitted by galvanised ring nails as standard to the frame, we have one other option to upgrade to a more rustic T&G planed feather board – Ask for more information.

Stronger Roof Trusses

The heavy duty A framed roof trusses are unique to the DSB range of buildings that are situated in key potitions, we are very proud to say the roof line will stay straight for the whole life of the field shelter.

Felt or Onduline Roof & Boarding

The DSB garden shed range come with the durable weatherproof mineral roofing felt as standard, ask about our alternative roofing options.

Roof Canopy

Why not change the look of your field shelter with a 914mm (3′) front roof canopy. Canopies provide that little bit more shelter, makes for a different aesthetic feel.

Wide Access Opening

All of our DSB Field Shelters feature a 2438mm (8′) wide opening as standard but these can be optionally increased or decreased to your choice – we can also fit a timber gate on request.

Kicking Boards

You can now add the extra thick OSB3 to the interior walls up to 1.2m (4’) high, this helps to protect the interior walls within the shelter.
